Pair is looking for an Eyewear Coating technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the coating of our glasses and any other optical components.This includes dip coating and AR coating the lenses. You will clean the tooling, and inspect the lenses. You will log work into our software.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for dismantling and cleaning the AR chamber as required to keep it in good working order.
  • Performing general maintenance on chambers.
  • Assist in measuring coating for solid contents.
  • Maintain and organize documentation to ensure it is up to date.
  • Unload parts from various chambers and place into QC
  • Responsible for keeping work areas clean at all times.

Who You Are:

  • You are reliable, dependable, punctual and available for overtime requirements.
  • You are a team player and willing to help in any other areas/departments
  • You have good oral and written communication skills
  • You have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including route sheets.
  • You have the ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • You are able to work independently or on a team

Need to Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of pressure
  • Knowledge of Google suite
  • Proficient in basic algebra

Nice to Have:

  • Previous machine operation experience
  • Vacuum deposition experience
  • Media blasting experience is a plus

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be $18 per hour. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives.
