What You’ll Do

Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, Strategic Account Managers sit at the intersection of Sales and Customer Success, responsible for the relationship and revenue growth of Stensul’s Global Strategic Accounts. Strategic AMs helm the internal team that touches every element of the customer lifecycle, with that team ranging from Stensul’s C-Level Executives, product and marketing leadership, solutions consulting, as well as Customer Success and Technical Account Management.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Owning and growing a book of strategic accounts by navigating large, complex enterprise organizations
  • Closing deals and negotiating customer agreements
  • Identifying and supporting ‘mobilizers’ in large organizations who can drive change and consensus for group buying decisions
  • Conducting business reviews with insights and recommendations
  • Utilizing analytical, relationship-building, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Collaborating with the rest of the Enterprise Team across Sales & Customer Success to refine our GTM strategy and tactics

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years in a Client Sales, Strategic Account Executive, or Enterprise Account Management role, preferably with a SaaS B2B company
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership; thrives in a fast-paced B2B SaaS startup environment
  • You want an individual quota and to report into the Sales Organization
  • You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • You have strong experience in a customer-facing role, advising C-level executives
  • You thrive by managing customer relationships independently by putting the customer first and building strategies to make customers successful with new technologies
  • You have an understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, preferably focused on email technology and key best practices and trends in email marketing

The compensation range being offered for this role is $120,000-140,000 plus variable compensation. Please note that Stensul's compensation philosophy is based on a geographical market approach, and the salary range listed relates specifically to roles located in New York. Stensul's compensation and career growth philosophy focuses on impact in the role, and starting salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based the competencies and level demonstrated in the interview process.
